Together with Villa Pardoes, we are going for sustainable!

Steps are being taken at Anton.
Not just any steps, but important sustainable steps.
In the coming period we will be working hard behind the scenes to obtain the EKO certificate, and thus the EKO quality mark.
This label makes visible the extra efforts that are being made to make Bij Anton more sustainable.
With these efforts, guests are also made aware of sustainability in an accessible way.
The most important step that will be taken is selling Villa Pardoes water.
With the sale of Villa Pardoes water two worlds are combined.
On the one hand it is an alternative for bottled water.
CO2 emissions when using tap water are about 400 times lower than for bottled water.
This is partly due to not using plastic containers or glass, but also no trucks are used to transport the water.
On the other hand, it is a beautiful and important collaboration with Villa Pardoes.
Part of the proceeds will therefore go to this charity.
Villa Pardoes is a villa right behind De Efteling.
Here children with a life-threatening illness can enjoy a wonderful vacation together with the whole family.
Through a special entrance there is access to De Efteling, but also in and around the villa these families can enjoy themselves to the fullest.
An experience is created in which time and attention for each other is paramount.
That is something Bij Anton wishes for everyone.
In addition to the wonderful cooperation with Villa Pardoes, Bij Anton is on the road to sustainability with materials such as biodegradable straws and combating food waste by offering doggy bags.
Another important part of this is the products used in the kitchen.
This includes looking at the products and where they come from.
Are they organically grown?
Do they come from the region?
And most importantly, are these seasonal?
Using seasonal products keeps the menu diverse and the products as fresh as possible.
Of course, there is also the option to eat entirely vegetarian at Anton’s.
Step by step action is taken to contribute to sustainability and to society.
Healthy choices and a beautiful goal come first.
Together making the world a little better, healthier and above all more beautiful, that is what counts.
This way we ensure that all future generations still have a healthy and livable planet.
