December has been a while and preparations for the holidays are just about complete.
\nAt Anton’s you can always enjoy the cozy atmosphere, being together and the delicious food, but with the holidays it’s even more of a party.
\nDuring Christmas you can visit Anton’s on both days, and in the new year you can’t miss the New Year’s drinks.
\nBut the theater also has plenty planned for 2020.
\nOn Christmas Day there will be a Christmas brunch with four different buffets.
\nUnfortunately, it is already fully booked and there are only spots available for the reserve list.
\nSoups, a cold buffet, a hot one, and of course: desserts!
\nFrom 11:30 you can walk in, where you will be welcomed with coffee, tea and something sweet.
\nAt 12:00 the buffets open, which you can enjoy until 16:00.
\nYou don’t have to make the difficult choice of what to eat this year, you don’t have to buy anything, you don’t have to prepare anything and you don’t have to do the dishes.
\nYou only have to sit down and pick up what you like.
\nLovely around this time of year!
\nI can hear you thinking, “but what can I choose from at the buffets?”
\nThere will be two types of soup: tomato cream and a game broth with forest mushrooms.
\nHere you will also find various breads including spreads and different toppings.
\nThe cold buffet will include several types of deluxe toppings, different types of fish, including a whole salmon, and a carpaccio board.
\nBut we’re not done yet, the hot buffet is there too.
\nThis consists of: veal ragout, of course with ragout trays, fish stew, pulled pork, scrambled eggs with tomato and onion, pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce, a beef stew and last but definitely not least: hot ham on the bone!
\nThe fourth and last buffet is there for dessert lovers and the kids, it consists of different flavors of bavarois, fresh fruit, fresh whipped cream, the one and only ice cream cart will be there and the kids can decorate pancakes.
\nOn Boxing Day, it is possible at Anton’s to have a nice drink from 16:00.
\nNo obligations, but a very warm and cozy atmosphere to enjoy.
\nAfter all, you celebrate Christmas together, as we are used to at Bij Anton.
\nA little tip from Santa: don’t have a gift for under the Christmas tree yet?
\nA gift certificate from Bij Anton can be used all year round for a drink, lunch or dinner.
\nYou can always ask at the bar about the possibilities.
\nIn 2020 it is again time for THE New Year drink of Kaatsheuvel!
\nOn January 5, several local artists will shine again during Friends of Anton LIVE.
\nAlso this year Mother’s Disaster will be present again to properly usher in the new year.
\nBut not only the New Year’s Drinks are scheduled for 2020, the program of Theater in the Clavier provides plenty of activities in Kaatsheuvel. You can enjoy various films, theater performances, cabaret by, for example, Christel de Laat, various types of live music such as cover band GROK on Jan. 18 and dance performances.
\nA number of shows are already sold out, so keep a close eye on the website<\/a>.
\nIn addition, Bij Anton LIVE and Anton’s Vinyl Caf\u00e9 will return monthly.
\nAll in all, there is still plenty to do at the end of the year at Bij Anton and at the Theater in Klavier, but 2020 will be well filled again as well.
